fuzz...wah...yeah, baby, let's shag. oh, and let me thank teresa, who books the bowery, mercury, and has epic taste in music, cuz i threw myself at her mercy, and she let me into the sold out show. time to give back.

i think they were recording or something. there were many cords, and that's above and beyond the ones in their necks or the ones attached to their pedals. ooh, those lovely pedals. i was enjoying the show too much to be really detailed here. mostly songs from house of, though they did some classics, from venus... & kill, kill, pussycat. to be honest, every album is a blur since i've become a house of fan.that's a good way to describe the show. the fans were in da house. yet i was able to mosey on up to the front side of the stage, so as not to be distracted from the stellar performance.

the keys were super crunchy with mega bite, the drumming was fucking phenominal, the bass was so immutable, so THERE, fenders anonymous. mas, por favor! crunchy more than creamy, although that one guitar is dreamy. drone drone drone groan. no, dammit, they did not play drone, i had to go play it at the best lil dive bar in nyc, the mars, like i always do.

senor janney was camping it up, he was pretty bad ass, and physically assaulted his keys in a good way, and with an ear to ear grin to boot. kudos to mr fleshgig (sic) and an all around oh, wow. yeah, y'all heard it before, but let the bunny reiterate, if you need a real music fix, this is the band to see. scorpios are hollow bodied, so many bases, so little time, more fenders fer congress, we were funkified and sinking fast. organs in our heads, time delayed, yet fast. even when the keys were cheesy (in a good way), the sound was 'infamous'. if yer confused, press alt.escape, i hope i haven't made any sense. their show made the bunny invent a word, ger-strap. when the guitar opens chords, heavens.

there is no bunny, i promise.
