Wow. I just got back from Thanksgiving and had to post about the end of tour show in Green Bay!  It was so cool! I unsubscribed while I was away so I don't know if anyone wrote about this, but sorry if you have heard all about it already.  I'm still on a high from it!

I came home for Thanksgiving and discovered that my friends had bought tickets to the Green Bay show and had an extra ticket because someone was sick, so off we went to drive to Green Bay.  We got there early and found our seats which were really close (about 10 rows back) and just after we got there GVSB went on stage.  They started the show and Scott jumped into the crowd and came and sat down in the seats a few rows behind us and was walking around singing in the aisles.  The Garbage fans didn't know what to do but we got up and started dancing. So they rocked - playing all kinds of cool shit (like Vera Cruise, Roxy, Park Avenue, can't remember the whole set) and as the show went on more people got up and started dancing.  Alexis came and jumped into the crowd and gave my friend a blow up alien, which was supposed to crowd surf, but it couldn't really crowd surf  because most people were sitting down.  I love my friend very much because she gave me the alien after the show so now it is proudly standing in the corner of my room.  It says " I love GVSB" on it (which was written on it when Alexis gave it to us).

At the end of the set Scott came back out into the crowd, and they played the same song that they started the set with but most people didn't realize it because they didn't know what they were doing. Some guys in masks (maybe Garbage but I don't know) came out on the stage and started playing on the drums with Alexis and jumping around, and Johnny jumped into the crowd and played on some chairs and it was so cool.

There were so many people waiting for them at the T-shirt booth that I was afraid I wouldn't get to meet them,  but we fought our way up to the front and I got to meet all of them and had a t-shirt signed by them.  People were actually screaming for them.  I don't think most of them knew who the band was before, but I think they made some new fans.

But the BEST part was at the end of Garbage all of GVSB came out in the middle of the last song of the encore wearing nothing but TOWELS (except shy Johnny was wearing a t-shirt tied up somehow).  They had written messages on their chests too.  I couldn't really read the messages but they were dancing around and it was so funny.  Johnny definitely looked the best in his towel but Scott was so cool in sunglasses and a black suit jacket and black boots along with his towel.  He looked like such a rock star, but I was surprised to discover he is so hairy! Shirley Manson tried to rip Alexis's towel off, but he got away from her before she could. Too bad!  It was really funny.

I'm glad I got to go to that show as I had missed them before because I was sick  when they were here.  It definitely made my Thanksgiving. C-yah!
